Lake Forest Overview
Lake Forest at St. Lucie West is a beautiful place to call home! It is a gated, active lifestyle community in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Lake Forest is just within the outskirts of the prestigious, master-planned community of St. Lucie West. This means we are close enough to the restaurants, big box stores, entertainment and nightlife of St. Lucie West, but far enough to avoid the crowds and congestion. Lake Forest is also in proximity to I-95 (for convenient travel north or south) and the Crosstown Parkway, a new east to west parkway within Port St. Lucie.
There are 689 single family homes located on 248.6 acres with 6.2 miles of roadways and sidewalks. The acreage includes 12 acres of preserve and upland trails where you will see an abundance of wildlife, 3 acres of wet land, 30 acres of irrigated common area and 10 lakes. Lake Forest Amenities
The clubhouse in Lake Forest sits adjacent to the exercise facility. The exercise building features state-of-the-art equipment, so our residents can stay fit in style. The clubhouse has plenty of room for hobbies and activities. There are also two outdoor pools with spa and cabanas, one at the north end and one at the south end of Lake Forest. A covered picnic area and childrens' playground are also included.
Lake Forest Homes
The Lake Forest community was completed in 2005 and all homes were built by Kennedy Homes. The homes in Lake Forest feature nineteen different floor plans. The floor plans of the homes offer great designs with spacious kitchens, private master suites, open floor plans, patios and attached two-car garages.
Lake Forest Lifestyle
Life at Lake Forest is easy with shopping, dining, and additional recreation just a short walk or bike ride away. Area
Since St. Lucie West is home for Spring Training for the New York Mets, residents can also catch baseball stars in action. While we have almost everything we need at hand, just a ten-minute drive towards the town of Tradition offers more shopping, big stores, restaurants, and seasonal festival and events. Tradition also features sculpture parks, interactive fountains, and tranquil waterways; and is home to Lake Tradition, which offers 45 acres of outdoor activities. For even more aquatic enjoyment, the Atlantic Ocean is only a thirty minute drive away from Lake Forest.
